Delete your account

You can delete your GooHom account at any time. Deletion cannot be undone.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open the GooHom app and go to Profile.
2. Tap Delete account at the bottom.
3. Read the summary, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account.

If you have a booking in progress, finish or cancel it first. We cannot delete an account with an active booking.

If you cannot open the app

Email privacy@goohom.com from the email address linked to your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm it is you and complete the deletion within 7 business days.

What is removed

• Your name, profile photo, phone number and push-notification token
• If you are a provider: your ID photo, face photo, work photos and profile
• Your listings (archived) and your open requests and pending quotes (withdrawn)
• Your messages, which are replaced with “Message deleted”
• Your notifications and uploaded files

What is kept

• Completed bookings and the reviews you wrote, shown as “Deleted user”, so other people’s history and provider ratings stay accurate
• Records the law requires us to keep, and records of safety reports
